Washington D.c. Smithsonian Institution

I want your students to learn about the world we live in? Viewing past.Students trip to Washington DC to visit our country, education services, Smithsonian Institution. There are 16 museums and National Zoo in Washington DC and 2 museums in New York. There are plans to build a museum 19, National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC. Although I have not visited all the museums, so far my favorite is The National Gallery of Art Seeing actual paintings by Impressionists Monet and Renoir, with my eyes was incredible. Know their names and see their works on the pages of books and magazines is impressive, but enough to see the painting that created the teachers themselves were a very special experience for me. Pablo Picasso is a favorite for many, and "Boy with a Pipe" became one of the most expensive paintings ever sold. Your group can not see this painting, but there are others worth investing your time in the Museum of Natural History is another interesting place to learn about our past. The motto for the museum said: "The National Museum of Natural History is dedicated to understanding nature and our place in it." Your group of students come from animals past and present together with fantastic jewelry that Hope Diamond. The Hope Diamond is 45.52 carats and is more than one billion years (so they say). In 1958 the diamond was donated to the Museum of Natural History, which now belongs to the people of the United States. Children and adults always want to visit the Air and Space Museum. This is one of the most visited museums and the homes of aircraft from all eras. Students who visit the Air and Space Museum will ensure that the 1903 Wright Flyer, the first engine-powered airplane, the Spirit of St. Louis, the plane Charles Lindbergh in the first transatlantic flight in 1927 and Apollo 11 command module. The Museum of American History teaches us that our lives, like the Americans. Our students are studying our history from the settlers, then as citizens of the United States, on the north and south and in the end, as fellow Americans. We can see how we got where we are today. The first American flag, our entertainment, our politics, our military and our home lives on display for our students and other visitors to learn. Groups of adults who visit the museum one can sense a bit "of nostalgia in some of the factors that can be seen. Dorothy's red shoes were on display, the movie never famous Wizard of Oz, as well as sports memorabilia, and 33 and 45, better known today as "vinyl". When the group takes the time to visit the Smithsonian Institute, there will be something for everyone, young and old and in between. As you visit these museums, make sure you have the time to go on your journey safely in every home, because our world's treasures and our people must be protected. a nice trip. Vickie Dodson
